Anna Kate came running into the kitchen today and exclaimed "I'm pretty sure I broke a blood tube in my arm!"  I replied with a forced seriousness, "oh".  And then she skipped off.   Sillly child.  It's kinda like how she calls germs "crumbs".

I'm trying to decide whether or not to try to get a garden in this year.  We're moving our garden spot because we are putting up sheep/chicken/maybe goat fencing where it was last year so it's going to be a lot of work.  And it will also be right around the time when I'll be really really big and awkward.  I"m thinking maybe Ill just do tomatoes, beans and lettuce.  But then I think about having to buy carrots and onions and potatoes and It seems silly not to put those in as well.  We'll see.

Last year I didn't have to water my garden once.  I wonder if it will be like that every year.

Gretta poops several times a day.  And today, all of them and most of her Pees landed on the potty without me asking her to.  We're making headway people.  And I'll stop now because who really wants to know about my childs potty habits.  No one.

Still no camera anywhere so I'll just tell you that I'm pretty big and you'll have to believe me.

We're getting a dozen eggs a day, after a short egg reduction, and It's wonderful have a constant supply.  We're waiting for our duck to start laying and I'm hoping for some babies this spring and summer.

and since it's really hard for me to post without pictures, I'll put up some film shots from last october picking apples.

I know, right?  Sometimes I forget I live here... on the east coast.  With Autumn coming every year.  It's pretty incredible.

I debated on a garden this year as well with me being a first time mom, running the farm and hubby so busy with his own company....
I keep thinking small but like you I keep saying why not this or that.
I will garden,in fact my window is full of transplants waiting for the greenhouse to get plastic on....my body needs good food feeding my girl and she will be eating the veggies through the winter.
great pictures
